Established by an agreement between the EPLO and the Law School of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) with the purpose of promoting academic and research activities, as well as achieving theoretical and applied results through the joint activity of the EPLO and the Law School of UNAM, the EPLO Branch in Mexico City, Mexico, referred to from now on as EPLO in MEXICO CITY, was inaugurated on 22 April 2009. The EPLO in MEXICO CITY will head the publication and distribution of the European Public Law Review in Spanish and the launch of the Spanish equivalent of the Academy of European Public Law, the oldest and most successful study program of the EPLO. 

 

The ceremony of the inauguration took place at the Benito Juarez Hall of the National Palace of Mexico with an opening address by Professor Diego Valadez, former Minister and former Attorney General of the Republic of Mexico and in the presence of highly esteemed academics and politicians.
