She has work experience on Constitutional Courts (2002-03), Modification of Iran's Legislative System (2003-04), Sports law (2004-05), Independence of Judges (2005-06), Good Governance & Executive (2005-06) and Parliamentary Committees (2006-present).

Sparsh Bhargava

India

Sparsh Bhargava is a lawyer and a Chartered Accountant, currently practising law at the Supreme Court of India through the office of Solicitor General of India. He cleared the law from the ILS Law College , Pune , India in 2006 and practiced at Mumbai for a year in Taxation Law. His areas of interest include Public Law and Taxation.

Mariangela Benedetti has graduated from Economic and Law School in 2002. Since 2003 she carries out academic activity and researches within the subject of Administrative Law held by Professor Giulio Vesperini and Professor Stefano Battini – in the Political Science Faculty – University of Viterbo “La Tuscia”. Since November 2004 she is a PhD student in Administrative Law at the Institute of public law – Law School University “La Sapienza” of Rome .

She studied in the USA at the Berkeley University of California. She gives lectures within the LLM course in “ Administrative law and administrative sciences ” coordinated by Prof. Luisa Torchia, at the University of Roma Tre .

She contributes to the European Review of Public Law and the Giornale di diritto amministrativo . She contributes to the research Observatory on Government policies , coordinated by Prof. Giulio Napolitano.

Elif Celik graduated from the Faculty of Law in 2004. She is Master International Human Rights Law (University of Malta/Human Rights Centre Ghent/Belgium). She has Internship at European Public Law Centre in fall 2006 in International Human Rights Law. Her academic interests are Human Rights of persons with Disabilities, International Migration, Refugee Law and Civil liberties. She is now working in the International Organization for Migration and dealing with Human Trafficking issues.

Fulvio Cortese

Fulvio Cortese is Fellow Researcher in Administrative Law at the University of Trento, Department of Legal Sciences, Italy. He is also Senior Researcher at the European Academy of Bolzano/Bozen – Institute for Studies on Federalism and Regionalism. From 2005 he is Contract Professor of Public Procurement Law at the University of Trento, Faculty of Engineering. Benedetto Cimino

Benedetto Cimino has graduated from Law School in 2004. He won a national grant in Administrative Law to study the withdrawal from the International Organization. Since 2004 he carries out academic activity and researches within the subject of Administrative Law held by Professor Giulio Vesperini and Professor Stefano Battini – in the Political Science Faculty – University of Viterbo “La Tuscia”. Since November 2005, he is a Ph.D. student in “ Public procurement ” at the Institute of Public Law – Economy Faculty, University of Viterbo “La Tuscia”. He gives lectures within the LLM course in “ Administrative law and administrative sciences ” coordinated by Prof. Luisa Torchia, at the University of Roma Tre , and within the LLM course in Administrative Law, at the University of Naples “ Suor Orsola Benincasa ”, coordinated by Prof. Aldo Sandulli. Abhishek Dubey

India

Abhishek Dubey is in the final year of the five year B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) course from Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur, India. He pursued a diploma course in ‘European Union Law' and a certificate course in ‘European Contract Law'. He also received a scholarship from the European Commission to attend a Certificate Course on European Public Law at the European Public Law Academy, Athens, Greece, in September 2006. Abhishek Dubey's writings were offered due approval and were published in European Public Law Series Book, Practical Lawyer, Student Bar Journal, Labour & Industrial Cases and Madras Law Journal. He was selected by the International Aeronautical Federation to present a paper at the 58th International Aeronautical Congress 2007, to be organized from 24th-28th September 2007. He was also invited to present a paper outlining the Implications of Product Patent Regime on Access to Medicines in India at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Jérôme Duvignau

Jérôme Duvignau attended the Academy of European Public Law in September 2005. In 2005, he completed a master in Public Law at the University of Bordeaux (Université Montesquieu Bordeaux IV). At the present moment, he is working on a thesis at the University of Pau . His thesis is on the foreigners' fundamental stay law. He is specialized in Foreigners Law and Liberty Law.

Turkan Ertuna

Turkey

Turkan Ertuna graduated LL.M. study at the Erasmus University Rotterdam on Business and Trade Law with a Jean Monnet Scholarship. She became an attorney at law in 2002. Since September 2004, she works at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, preparing her PhD thesis on European and Turkish immigration policies.

Pedro Fernández Sánchez is Portuguese and Spanish, born in Lisbon. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. He is Lawyer, practicing Constitutional Law, International Public Law, Administrative Law, Administrative Litigation; Administrative Contracts and Public Procurement. He teaches Public Law at the University of Lisbon.

Angela Ferrari Zumbini

Italy

Angela Ferrari Zumbini has graduated from Law School in 2002. In 2003 she worked in a Law Firm in Rome . In 2004 she won a national grant in Administrative Law to study “Public Assets Management”. Since November 2004 she is a PhD Candidate at the University of Urbino and she is writing her thesis on “Public Property”. In 2006 she passed the Italian Bar Exam. She studied abroad, in Germany , at the Humboldt Universität and in the USA at the Berkeley University of California. She is currently a Visiting Researcher at the Georgetown Law School in Washington DC.

Mafalda Ferreira graduated in Law by Catholic University of Lisbon. She has hold the EPLC Diploma in 2005. She has published articles in the European Review of Public Law in the European Public Law Series on Administrative Law. She is junior associate at Sérvulo Correia & Associados and his Practice Areas are Administrative Law, Government Contracts and Public Procurement and Litigation.

Tiago Fidargo de Freitas

Portugal

Tiago Fidalgo de Freitas holds a law degree from the University of Lisbon , School of Law , and the Diploma of the Academy of European Public Law . Since he graduated, he has been a lawyer in Sérvulo Correia & Associados law firm. He has published and forthcoming articles in constitutional law. His main areas of interest are Constitutional and Administrative Law, European Union Law and Legal Theory. In 2006-2007, he took a Master of Law in General Studies as a Hauser Global Scholar in New York University School of Law.

Aurore Garin

France

Aurore Garin graduated from Robert Schuman University , Strasbourg , and got a Master in EC law. She spent one year in Padua , Italy , in the framework of the Erasmus programme. After an LLM at the College of Europe in Bruges , Belgium , she became PhD candidate at Paris II Panthéon-Assas University and at the Faculty of Geneva, Switzerland, as well. She is now working at the Centre d'Etudes Juridiques Européennes (CEJE) in Geneva.
 

Javad Kargozari

Javad Kargozari is L.L.B. in Judicial Law (1999) and L.L.M. in Public Law (2001) by Shahid Beheshti University, Faculty of Law (his L.L.M thesis was about “John Rawls' Theory of Justice and Human Rights”). He is PhD candidate at Shahid Beheshti University. His specialization area is “constitutional law” and he is interested in philosophical aspects of Law.

Arjun Krishnan finished his undergraduate law degree from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore , India , in 2005. He attended the EPLC program in September 2005. Raul Letelier Wartenberg is Master in Public Law and PhD student in Administrative Law at the University Carlos III of Madrid . He is professor of Administrative Law at the University of Magallanes , Chile , and Attorney of the Chilean State .He holds the Diploma of the Center of Political and Constitutional Studies in Madrid and the Diploma of the European Public Law Center in Greece. Letelier Wartenberg has conducted research in the fields of State Liability and General Theory of Administrative Law.

The Netherlands

Elaine Mak holds master degrees in law from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam ( Netherlands ) and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France). She currently prepares a PhD thesis at these universities concerning “constitutional aspects of the judicial organisation in the Netherlands , France and Germany ”.

Raluca Mihalcioiu

Romania

Raluca Mihalcioiu studied Law and business economics, the master in International Relations and now she is writing her Ph. D work in the field of Modernisation of the Public Administration – Evaluation of the public organisations. Since 2005 she works as a researcher at the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration and since February 2007 she has the International Parliaments award, at the German Bundestag.

Mehdi Mokhtari

Iran

Mehdi Mokhtari is Public Law Ph.D. student in Shahid Beheshti University, Faculty of Law. He has a Diploma of the Academy of European Public Law, EPLC and a LL.M. degree in Public Law by Shahid Beheshti University, Faculty of Law, 1996-99. He is member and the responsible person for International Relations of Democracy Group of the UNESCO Chair for Human Rights, Peace and Democracy in Shahid Beheshti University. He is also Scientific Assistant and Local Secretary for the Regional Branch of EPLC in Tehran and Researcher and Consultant for the revision of several Iranian Election Acts and the Political Parties Act. He is author and translator of dozens of professional articles in several Iranian newspapers and professional periodicals.

Simona Morettini has graduated in Law at the University of Siena in 2004. She is Post-graduate student in EU Environmental Law (Legislation Institute) and she works in the Legislation Institute of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine , Department of European Law and International Integration.

Her specialization areas are International Law, Environmental Law and Legal Approximation Issues.

Mahmut Mustafa Özdil

Mahmut Özdill graduated from the Faculty of Law, Galatasaray University , Istanbul . He holds an LLM in Public Law from the Institute of Social Science, Galatasaray University, Istanbul. He is also PhD Candidate, in Public Law, for the same Institute.

Since 2000, he is Teaching Assistant in Administrative Law, Faculty of Law, Bahçeşehir University , Istanbul .

Margherita Poto

Italy

Margherita Poto is Doctor in Public Law at University of Pavia. At the moment she is Research Grant Recipient at University of Turin. She is also Lecturer in Public Law and Administrative Law since 2003 at Economics Faculty- Università del Piemonte Orientale. She is also Lecturer in Agrarian Law (Food Safety Law: In Europe and in Italy) at Agrarian Faculty - University of Turin. In 2006 she was awarded a Post Doc Scholarship at Max Planck Institute for International and Comparative Law in Heidelberg.

Rajat Rana

India

Rajat Rana graduated from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore , in June 2006. During law school, he was engaged with the Law and Society Committee through which he tried to generate interdisciplinary scholarship in law school, by founding ‘Socio-Legal' Review Journal and by organizing the first South Asia Roundtable Conference on ‘Law and Social Movements'.  He has received many scholarships and grants to undertake internships with various organizations around the world and to attend seminar courses. After law school, he spent several months assisting the Judges at the Trial Chamber II on Military II case at the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) in Arusha , Tanzania , as a legal intern.  Rajat have published several papers in leading national and international journals and currently authoring a book on “Indigenous People as Subalterns in International Law'. He is currently a practicing lawyer in the High Court of State of Punjab and Haryana as well as the Supreme Court of India and will commence a Masters in Law at Stanford Law School in fall 2007.

Stéphanie Roux

Stéphanie Roux holds a Law Degree from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Lisbon. Since September 2005, she is a trainee in the Portuguese law firm Sérvulo Correia e Associados .

Ania Salinas

Chile

Ania Salinas Cerda studied Law and a Master Degree in Public Law at the University of Concepción , Chile . During the academic year 2004-2005, she researched as a fellow at Queen's University Belfast, Northern Ireland. She attended the Academy of European Public Law during 2005-2006, receiving the Diploma in September 2006. During May and June 2007, she attended the International Courses of the United Nations University in Tokyo , Japan . Ania Salinas Cerda is researching since July 2007 and will be until January 2008 at Trento's University, Italy.

Priyamvada Shenoy

India

Priyamvada Shenoy is currently in the fifth year of a law course. She is studying in ILS Law College , Pune, Maharashtre , India . Her areas of interest are Competition Law and International Law. She has also done diplomas in the related subjects. She has also done a diploma in European Union Law in India as a part of the Poros Project and through which she got an opportunity to attend the European Public Law Academy in Greece.

Bogdan Trandafirescu

Romania

Bogdan Cristian Trandafirescu is a professor assistant at the “Ovidius” University of Constanţa – Faculty of Law and Administrative Sciences (since 2002). He teaches the following subjects (seminars): General Theory of Law; International Trade Law; International Private Law and Philosophy of Law. Since September 2006, he is a PhD Candidate in the field of International Trade Law. Since the same year, he has been a member of the research centre – “Human Rights and Discrimination” and a member of the redaction committee of the revue “Ars Aequi” published by the same research centre. He published 15 articles (at the national level and at international Conferences) and he is co-author in a Civil Law Course. (“Civil law: Property Rights and General Theory of obligations”). He is interested in International Trade Law, Electronic Trade and Contractual Law.

Adarsh Varghese

Adarsh Varghese is currently pursuing final year of B.A LL.B (Hons) at the Hidayatullah National Law University , Raipur , India . He has chosen International Trade & Investment as his Honours paper for specialization. He attended the European Academy of Public Law, Athens in September 2006.

Marius Vacarelu is Master Administrative Sciences and Master in Geopolitics. Since 2005 he is Ph D Student in Administrative Sciences on the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration Bucharest. He has participated in International conferences with articles published in Russia and Poland. He is also A ssistant Professor in Civil law, Administrative procedure and Basics of Financial Law .

Marc Vilalta Reixach

Spain

Marc Vilalta Reixach has a degree in Law and Diploma in Commercial Law from the Autonomous University of Barcelona ( Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona ). Mr. Vilalta has also studied at the University of Bologna ( Italy ) and Academy of European Public Law ( Greece ), where in 2006 he received the Diploma of the Academy of European Public Law . Nowadays he is a Ph.D. candidate in Administrative Law at the University of Barcelona ( Universitat de Barcelona ), lecturer in Administrative Law and Local Government Law at the University of Barcelona and member of the Public Law Institute ( Institut de Dret Públic ) in Barcelona. His main areas of interest are Local Government and Administrative Law, where Mr. Vilalta has published several articles in Spanish Law Reviews (such as Revista d'Estudis Federals i Autonòmics and Revista de Estudios Autonómicos y Locales ), and is the author of the book entitled El Consejo de Gobiernos Locales , Ed. Iustel, Madrid 2007.
